| Will
is a multi-camera director, show caller and vision mixer,
with credits ranging from live broadcast studio shows to corporate
event production. He multi-skills - often self-shooting,
lighting
and sound recording on location, as well as script writing and video
editing when required - and has also guest lectured in media production at various institutions. Currently based in the West Midlands, he has worked in such far flung places as the USA and Latvia as well as some of the most prestigious venues in the UK - including Westminster Abbey, The Dorchester, Grovesnor House, the Birmingham and Edinburgh ICCs, Mansion House, The Hilton on Park Lane, The Oxford Playhouse Theatre and London Guildhall. He is an excellent musical score reader, having achieved Grade 8 Singing (ABRSM) at the age of 16, and is as comfortable working in sensitive situations with sick, disabled and disadvantaged children as he is directing shows featuring symphony orchestras, Royal Engagements and Prime Ministerial appearances. Over the past couple of years, he has had the honour of camera directing and vision mixing two sets of TED Talks, at TEDGlobal 2010 and 2011, as well as dabbling in a small amount of associate producing for Rod Natkiel Associates. He will be studying for an MA in Directing Digital Film and Television at Bournemouth University's Centre for Excellence in Media Practice, commencing in October 2011. |
